Kids!

At Source of Life Church our kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a fun, creative, and relevant way. 

We don't call it day care or even Sunday school, it is children's church. We take the kids aside, not so the parents can experience church quietly, but so the children can have appropriate Bible teachings to reach their own needs.

When you arrive at church, you can sign up your child for children's church at the greeting center, then, we have the worship part of the service as a family. The children will be dismissed before the message to go in their appropriate age group class.

Here is how a usual children church service looks like:

  • free time: It is important for us that the kids have time to interact together and get to know each other, and that we have time to get to know them as well. Each class has a lot of fun and interactive games.
  • snack: We have a snack time and usually give them animal crackers and apple juice. If it is a special celebration, then you will be notified ahead if we plan on giving them something else.
  • Bible story: We have a specific theme every week with a Bible story, a memory verse, an object lesson, the animal of the day, and a coloring page or craft that goes with the theme.

* There is a mother baby corner in the Under the Sea class.
* We also offer Bible study every other week for pre-teens ages 11 to 14

I have had the priviledge of being involved in children's chuch for many years in different churches. I have also helped a church establish and coordinate their children's ministry department. It is now my pleasure to have prepared and written the curriculum for your children!
